Jayin

Starting point

The challenge was to speak about cars in a way that didn’t feel like every other car campaign. The category had its own familiar language, but the audience had moved somewhere else. It needed something closer to how people actually speak and feel.

PROJECT

Brand Campaign

“Most ideas don’t start fully formed. They start from something that
stays unresolved.”

What stayed with me

During the work, one word kept returning: “Jayin.” It was casual, familiar, and already part of the culture. But inside it was a sense of movement, arrival, and confidence. It felt like something was already coming.

The shift

That changed the direction. Instead of inventing a campaign idea from outside the culture, we built from a word that already belonged to it.

How it came together

“Jayin” shaped the tone, the visual rhythm, and the way Hyundai showed up across film and digital. It gave the work a sense of momentum without forcing it.

What it became

The campaign didn’t feel like the brand was trying to enter the conversation. It felt like it was already part of it. That was the strength of the idea.
