This is the first post in Watching, a space for the films, series, scenes, and visual moments that stay with me after they end.
I don’t always remember a story in full. What usually stays is smaller: a frame, a silence, a line, a character, a mood, or something unresolved that keeps returning later. Those are the parts I find myself thinking about long after the screen goes dark.
In this category, I’ll be writing about what I watch and what it leaves behind. Not formal reviews, not ratings, just reflections on the moments that linger. Some posts may focus on a film, others on a scene, a performance, a visual style, or a feeling that stayed longer than expected.
I’m drawn to work that doesn’t explain everything too quickly. The kind that leaves space for you to feel something first.
That’s what I’ll be holding on to here.
