Where the Day Begins Slowly

This is the first post in Brewing, a space for the coffees, cafés, beans, methods, and small rituals that make coffee more than something I drink.

I’ve always been drawn to the details of a good cup. The origin, the roast, the grind, the method, the temperature, the place. Sometimes the difference is obvious. Other times, it’s so subtle that you only notice it because you slowed down enough to pay attention.

In this category, I’ll be sharing the coffees I come across, the cafés I return to, the beans I discover, and the rituals that make each cup feel different. Not as formal reviews, but as notes on taste, place, habit, and the quiet moments that happen before the day fully begins.

Coffee has a way of asking for attention before everything else starts asking for urgency.

And this is where I’ll keep those slower beginnings.
